Emir Ozeren is an Associate Professor of management and organisation at the Faculty of Tourism and a post-doc Research Fellow in Entrepreneurship and Innovation within the Southampton Business School by the beginning of 2017. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Management with“Excellent Cum Laude” from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. He was previously a visiting researcher at the Centre for Research in Equality and Diversity (CRED) in Queen Mary University of London. He is currently the Vice Head of Department of Women’s Studies in Dokuz Eylül University. His research interests include organisation behavior, equality, diversity, inclusion and gender in organisations, queer studies, critical management, social entrepreneurship and innovation

She completed BA degree in Tourism Administration at the Faculty of Business, Dokuz Eylül University (2001). She acquired MA degree (2003) and Ph.D. degree (2010) at the European Union Department of Graduate School of Social Sciences, Dokuz Eylül University. She was granted Jean Monnet Scholarship by the European Commission and the TR Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the period 2004-2005 to study the free movement of services at the University of Birmingham, the United Kingdom. She took part in various European Union projects. She is still working in the executive team of the Jean Monnet Chair in European Social Policy Project. Her research interests include new product development in tourism, recreation, health tourism, sustainable tourism and tourism policies of the EU. She is acting as the Co-head of the European Union Department at the Graduate School of Social Sciences, Dokuz Eylül University.

She completed a Bachelor's degree from the School of Tourism and Hotel Management, Travel Management and Tourism Guidance Program at Adnan Menderes University (2008). She earned a Master's degree (2011) in Tourism Management at the Institute of Social Sciences, Dokuz Eylül University. She acquired Ph.D. degree (2017) in Tourism Management at the Institute of Social Sciences, Adnan Menderes University. She is currently a member of the Central Advisory Board at the Aegean Region Cultural Heritage Research and Application Center. Additionally, she has been working as an active tourist guide at the national level within the Ministry of Culture and Tourism since 2008. Her research interests include tourism management, accessible tourism, tourist guiding, information and communication technologies in tourism enterprises, entrepreneurship.

Özay Emre Yıldız graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Department of Tourism Management in 2003 and NHTV, Department of International Tourism Management and Consultancy in 2005. He received his MBA degree in 2009 and PhD in 2015, both from Dokuz Eylül University, Department of Tourism Management. He holds a WSET Level 3 Award in Wine and Spirits certificate from Kayra Wine Centre. After serving as a research assistant in Okan University in 2008 – 2009 and a lecturer in Doğuş University between 2009 and 2015, he started working in Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Tourism.

He was born in 1983 in İzmir. In 2006 he hold bachelor’s degree from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Department of Business Administration and took up a position as a research assistant in Dokuz Eylül University Graduate School of Social Sciences in 2008. In 2010 he hold master’s degree from Dokuz Eylül University Graduate School of Social Sciences Department of Business Administration Division of Management and Organization. He holds his Ph.D. education at Dokuz Eylul University Graduate School of Social Science Department of Tourism Management in 2019. In 2015 he started working as a Research Assistant at the Faculty of Tourism and his research interests are responsible tourism, organizational justice, entrepreneurship and Total Quality Management.

She completed her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at the Faculty of and Administrative Sciences, Dokuz Eylül University (2014). She obtained her Master's degree in Business Management (MBA) at the Institute of Social Sciences, Dokuz Eylül University (2017). She has been awarded the “Best Thesis” prize by City Awards Turkey with her thesis (2018). She completed her Ph.D. education in Tourism Management at the Institute of Social Sciences, Dokuz Eylül University (2024). She is working as a Assist. Prof. at the Faculty of Tourism at Dokuz Eylül University and her research interests include tourism marketing, destination branding and smart cities.
